Abstract. The article addresses the relevant problem of improving the efficiency of external reinforcement systems for reinforced concrete structures using carbon composite materials. The primary focus is on investigating the performance of anchor bundles as a key element ensuring reliable attachment of external reinforcement. The authors analyze existing approaches and regulatory frameworks, identifying a lack of practical recommendations for designing anchor assemblies considering their interaction with the strengthening system. A developed methodology for experimental-theoretical research is presented, encompassing finite element modeling and testing of prototype reinforced concrete beams. Preliminary modeling results indicate that the use of anchor bundles allows for localized reinforcement and significantly increases the shear strength of the connection. The article substantiates the need for further research to refine calculation models and develop practical guidelines, aiming to enhance the reliability and expand the application scope of composite strengthening technologies.
