Abstract. This article discusses the problem of hydrogen sulfide release in sewer networks. H2S is a toxic gas that leads to a deterioration of the sanitary and environmental situation, and is also the cause of the destruction of reinforced concrete structures of wastewater disposal systems. The formation of this gas mainly occurs under anaerobic conditions present in the pressure pipelines of sewage pumping stations. Further ingress of wastewater into the pressure damping chambers and strong turbulence of the flow leads to significant emissions of hydrogen sulfide into the airspace, which negatively affects the conditions and operating time of sewer networks. In order to eliminate the process of hydrogen sulfide production in the pressure pipeline, the device of pressure flow ejection units with air is proposed. This paper presents the results of a laboratory experiment to evaluate the concentrations of dissolved oxygen after the ejection unit on the pressure pipeline.
