Abstract. The experience of construction of frame multi-storey buildings with a combined floor plan of wooden slabs and steel crossbars is analyzed. It has been established that ceilings in such buildings can effectively work as stiffening discs that link vertical load-bearing structures into a single spatial system and redistribute external loads between them. It is noted that when designing taking into account the seismic load, the rigidity of the ceiling discs is not a prerequisite, and the calculation of the building can be performed taking into account the actual rigidity of the discs. The results of testing a new type of rigid adhesive screw joints for pulling out of cross-glued wood are presented. The design of the assembly with adhesive screw connections for the longitudinal joints of the prefabricated floor discs has been developed, which allows them to be mounted on support platforms to steel crossbars and ensures the joint operation of metal-wood structures. The results of shear tests of the developed nodal joint are presented, its strength, rigidity and plasticity are determined. The results of monotonous and cyclic tests of fragments of prefabricated discs made of cross-glued wood when working with steel crossbars are presented. The shear stiffness and dynamic characteristics of metal-wood floor discs with adhesive joints for calculating multi-storey buildings, taking into account wind and seismic loads, have been established.
