Abstract. Reinforced concrete monolithic frame buildings occupy a dominant position in modern housing construction. The spatial rigidity of the reinforced concrete frame, as a rule, is provided by vertical monolithic stiffening diaphragms and floor discs. At the same time, the joint work of the stone filling and the monolithic reinforced concrete frame of the building is often not taken into account. Stone filling is able to resist shear deformations of the frame, thereby increasing its rigidity and bearing capacity. It is established that the participation of stone filling in the work of a monolithic reinforced concrete frame not only significantly increases the spatial rigidity of the building, but also significantly affects the distribution of internal forces in the frame elements. It is shown that the joint work of masonry with the building frame leads to a decrease in internal forces in the vertical elements of the frame and a simultaneous increase in the filling resistance to shear forces and bending. Together, this contributes to increasing the crack resistance of the wall filling and reducing the material consumption of the reinforced concrete frame. The replacement of vertical reinforced concrete stiffening diaphragms with stone filling makes it possible to reduce the overall consumption of concrete and reinforcing steel, reduce the complexity of construction and installation works by by eliminating formwork, reinforcement and concrete work, accelerate the construction time of the building.
