Abstract. Data processing centers in Russia are becoming more in demand, and the development of digital technologies and computing equipment requires the improvement of buildings, including engineering-technical and architectural-technical solutions. The development of their construction provides for an increase in the size of the facilities themselves and their energy consumption. In this regard, there are issues of their safety and the surrounding development, due to factors of mutual negative influence, as well as engineering, technical and mechanical safety. To solve these problems and prevent the negative consequences of construction, regulatory design documents are required, which are currently practically absent. In this regard, it is proposed to consider one of the first regulatory documents in this area, which should help designers and customers of data centers.
