Abstract. Currently, when assessing the condition of sports facilities, outdated measuring instruments are mainly used, which have a large measurement error. The article considers the application of three-dimensional laser scanning technology for monitoring the condition of sports facilities on the example of treadmills, as the most traumatic object. It has been established that when scanning a sports facility, it is advisable to use ground-based laser scanning technologies due to low labor costs and high accuracy of obtaining coordinates. At the same time, aerial laser scanning is more effective in assessing the technical condition and shooting stadiums, ski complexes and other large linear and area objects, where shooting with a ground scanner significantly increases labor costs. The need for further implementation of modern measuring instruments for monitoring sports facilities was noted, which will significantly improve the efficiency of technical assessment of sports facilities.
