Abstract. Residents of modern cities increasingly feel the impact of vibration from urban transport (open or shallow subway lines, trams, rail transport, etc.). It is possible to reduce the negative impact of vibration on human health and building structures by means of a variety of elastic protection systems - vibration isolators. The advantages of using vibration isolators to improve the well-being of people, as well as the impact of vibration protection on the technical and economic indicators of the design and construction of buildings and structures are shown. A calculation using the Python programming language, a rubber-metal vibration isolator with 5 holes of different diameters, and without holes is presented. A comparative analysis of the Eigen frequencies of rubber-metal vibration isolators is made. Finite element models of a rubber-metal vibration isolator with and without holes are built, and their characteristics are analyzed. The results show that vibration isolators with several symmetrically located through holes have several advantages in a number of parameters to vibration isolators without holes. Therefore, they can be used for vibration isolation of buildings, especially in the case of delayed installation of vibration protection.
