Abstract. Constructive solution with the use of modern materials and equipment for the restoration of residential buildings damaged as a result of explosive and temperature effects are proposed. Methods and solutions were based on the results of the survey and additional assessments of suitability, methods of repair and reinforcement as part of the work on the restoration of buildings. Using the example of large-block and large-panel buildings in Mariupol, information is provided on the methods of restoration of residential buildings used in modern construction practice. The documentation (standard series and standard projects) according to which these buildings were erected was processed and analyzed. The description of preparatory works on clearing and dismantling of buildings with the use of specialized equipment and additional measures for demolition of damaged building structures is given. Options for the use of various modern and long-established materials with the use of prefabricated, monolithic, prefabricated-monolithic structures and piece materials are considered. It has been established that the structural schemes of residential panel and large-block buildings are resistant to progressive collapse after the loss of structural elements, which makes it possible to carry out restoration work.
