Abstract. Some results of complex studies on the assessment of the scale and width of the flooding zone of the coastal areas of the reservoir of the Vitebsk hydroelectric power station (Republic of Belarus), conducted using ground and remote surveys of unmanned aerial vehicles are presented. The article shows the possibility of integration and compatibility of the predictive characteristics of coastal filtration and groundwater backwater, obtained on the basis of using both analytical dependencies and field measurements, and information collected using remote sensing of the earth's surface. Complex studies have shown the effectiveness and prospects for the joint use of classical methods, including computational and field methods, in combination with modern means of operational assessment of the object under study.
