    Abstract. Shear connector, which play the role of a combination structure in steel-reinforced concrete floors, operate under conditions of a complex stress-strain state. The use of profiled flooring as a permanent formwork when installing steel-reinforced concrete floors also affects the strength and deformability of the connectors. The introduction of a reduction factor into the calculation, which depends on the geometric characteristics of the decking and other design parameters of the union node, makes it possible to qualitatively evaluate this effect. The existing methods for calculating the reduction factor developed for welded studs are considered, and the possibility of their application for the design of nailed shear connectors fixed with dowel nails is evaluated. To conduct a comparative analysis, the results of laboratory tests performed by the authors earlier on fragments of steel-reinforced concrete beams were used. The study of the work of shear connectors in the structures of steel-reinforced concrete floors with slabs arranged on a profiled deck should be continued. Especially when locating connectors in the middle and weak positions in profiled flooring produced in accordance with domestic standards.
