Abstrsct. All over the world there is a boom in the construction of pedestrian bridges made of aluminum structures. This is due to the fact that the service life of such bridges is not inferior in duration to similar structures made of steel and reinforced concrete, but for the entire service life there is practically no need for operating costs, so aluminum bridges are cheaper for municipal and regional budgets. And today we are talking not only about pedestrian bridges, but also about road bridges. There is also the experience of bridge construction of aluminum alloys in Russia. For today, about ten pedestrian bridges made of aluminum alloys have been built in Russia. At the same time the study of properties and features of aluminum alloys with the development of technologies for its application continues.
