Abstract. The possibility of using the technology of jet-cementation of permafrost soils for the construction of foundations from soil-cement columns is considered. The results of laboratory tray tests for determining the load-bearing capacity of soil-cement columns in frozen soil are presented. The research methodology, the applied parameters of jet-cementation, the results of static tests of fragments of soil-cement columns in frozen soil, as well as the results of tests to determine the strength of soil-cement that hardened at negative temperature are described. It is assumed that the use of the technology of jet-grouting technology in the cryolithozone is possible and promising. In certain geotechnical conditions, the use of this technology will reduce the construction time and reduce economic costs. The directions of further research of this technology, which should include a detailed analysis of the properties of ground cement in thawed and frozen soils with identical characteristics, experimental field work on the installation of ground cement piles in real conditions of the spread of permafrost soils using different parameters of jet cementation, etc., are identified.
Key words: soil-cement pile, jet-cemetation, permafrost soils, pile foundation, static testing, bearing capacity of soil-cement.
