Absatrct. The given engineering technique is developed on the basis of the analytical solution to the mathematical model of atmospheric corrosion processes in reinforced concrete structures. The fundamental distinctive difference of the mathematical model lies in taking into consideration the dual system of porosity and the existence of the moving boundary of phase transition. For calculations we take the structural element of a cylindrical form in the center of which lies a flow-through capillary. In the transverse direction it is adjoined by the so-called micro-capillaries of radial direction. In flow-through capillaries there takes place a mass transfer of air and liquid phases, in cross capillaries - a liquid one. Chemically active agents of a cement matrix are neutralized in case of the mass transfer of an aggressive substance in the transverse direction. From the analytical solution made on the basis of the initially linearized equation there have been determined concentrations of the aggressive substance in unbound and bound states in the concrete depth. And all parameters of the process are united in two generalized equations. For forecasting there is also provided their determination according to the actual distribution of concentrations in concrete of the investigated structures that makes it possible to simplify the preparation of the basic data for calculations, especially taking into account the fact that they are statistically averaged and consider all features of the process for the previous period. The practical applicability of the proposed methodology is based on the use of standards for determining in the concrete general concentration and a concentration in the free state of aggressive components.
Key words: reinforced concrete, atmospheric corrosion, dual system of porosity, movable boundary, forecasting, degradation of reinforced concrete structures.
