    Abstract. It is proposed to assess the activity of the Moscow construction complex on the basis of considering the sum of characteristics of some interrelated branches according to the All-Russian Classifier of types of economic activity. The reasonability and prospectivity of the assessment of the activity efficiency of the capital's construction complex as a whole are substantiated as the set of results of activity of organization of four branches: construction, realization of real estate, construction industry and activities in the field of design, architecture, and engineering surveys. It is proposed to evaluate the factual contribution of the construction complex to the capital's economy according to the share in taxes of the city's budget. The share of the construction complex in taxes of the city's consolidated budget is established; the structure of tax revenues from the organizations of the construction complex to the city's budget is revealed. The growth rate of tax revenues from the organizations of the construction complex in 2014-2016, dynamics of taxes revenues on profit of the organizations significantly connected with changes in the system of taxation, significance and amount of the property tax, including real estate, growing in Moscow due to the number and area of taxable objects are determined. General trends in the dynamics of tax revenues from the largest taxpayers which are united in the construction complex are revealed.
